Battery Status in DACK

DACK is pulling and displaying each lock's current battery status in your property IOT Devices. It is important to note that once wifi connection is lost on a device, DACK will continue to display the last known battery status and will not be able to update this until the device has reconnected to WiFi.

Issues writing codes to Schlage in DACK

For Schlage Encode locks- if the Master Code on the lock is more than 4 digits, DACK will not be able to successfully write codes to the lock until the master code (along with any additional code in Schlage) is changed to a 4-digit code. This is because Schlage Encode only accepts codes that match the length of the master code. See this article for instructions on how to update this in Schlage.

Schlage Encode PLUS locks should not have this issue. These locks should be able to accept codes of 4-8 digits.

Other important things to note:

  • Max number of 100 codes can be assigned to a lock

  • An "unauthorized status" on a lock in Schlage may cause issues when trying to make changes on a devices, such as writing codes
