ALL NEW Messaging!
This is an INCREDIBLE update to our existing messaging platform -and highly anticipated. You can now set a custom message for any unit or unit group. You can also message guests that have registered and guests that haven’t, as well as any stay status. Say you want to message all upcoming guests that haven’t registered and remind them about that app - you can easily do that now with a few clicks. You can also message all “in-stay” guests at your “high-end” properties and offer them a specific upsell. It’s as flexible as you want it to be!
Bulk Assign Staff Codes
Another highly anticipated update - You can now assign and unassign staff codes to multiple units at once. You can also change staff codes once, and they will be updated on all locks. This is a major overhaul and should save operators tons of time.
Please note when adding and removing staff and updating codes, you’ll want to look out for any potential error messages in your critical alerts area in case locks are offline during the updating process.
Upsell Categories
Cluster your upsell categories in any way you want! You can now group “activities,” “stay extras,” and “local vendors” in different categories. This will help your guests easily find what they’re looking for and allow you to add as many upsells as you want without overcrowding your upsell list. You can also add a custom category for our pre-built vendors like Bounce, Viator, and BabyQuip.
Lock Battery Percentages Update
We’ve updated the UI in the access area to make it very easy to determine which locks are at risk of running out of battery. You can now view the real-time percentages in a clean and easy-to-read manner. Just note that our battery data is only as good as the API data we receive, so it’s always good to double-check with your hardware cloud provider (August, Yonomi, etc.) to ensure readings are accurate.
All New Activity Overview Dashboard
Guest tech was why we founded DACK, but as more and more operators fall in love with our product, it’s important to make operators' lives easier while they manage day-to-day operations from our portal. That’s why we’re making improvements to our dashboard constantly. You’ll notice a few new features in our revamped "Activity Overview" dashboard. “Today’s Check-ins” and “Today’s Checkouts” are now in two separate windows so you can quickly and easily view whos coming in and out of your units today. You’ll also notice that units with “Same day turns” are marked in red so your staff knows to clean those units first. Lastly, you’ll notice that you can quickly view Early Check-in Requests (highlighted with a red border) from the dashboard and approve them.
You’ll also see major updates to the mobile responsiveness of the dashboard in the upcoming week to make it easier for you to manage your properties on the go.
Web Guest App
DACK is simple, reliable, and super easy to launch, and our web app showcases that. Our team has been working round the clock to keep the web app up to speed with the native apps. While we will always be true believers in the native app experience, we want to ensure operators and guests have as much flexibility as possible. As of this release, nearly every feature available in the native app is also available in the web app. But that doesn’t mean you have to use every feature! In fact, you can get started with a web or native app in as little as one day with a simple property guide, access info, automated upsells, and pre-populated local recommendations.
